hi there!

it has been a very busy week

lots of researching,

more researching

packing,

realizing i don't need what i packed,

unpacking

realizing that i might need that after all

repacking

shoes shopping,

bikini shopping,

dress shopping,

bargain shopping,

impuslive purchases shopping

"did i really buy that?!?" shopping

yup, it has been a pretty packed week
so

i made a commitment to pay extra close attention to what i eat,

i, like a few others i would guess

have a tendency to munch on junk food when stress levels are high

today for lunch,

i went to the grocery store,

stacked on couscous,

followed by chickpea salad,

& finished with some wild rice

yum!

it was absolutely delicious!

i'm flying out this saturday,

i'm quite nervous,

well....really nervous,

but before then i need to check a few things off the to-do list

tomorrow is canada day!

it is 28 degrees,

the aircon has decided to go on strike

& i am studying for a test tomorrow,

dear summer,

i know you've just arrived, 

(*welcome, by the way!)

& i know we all begged you to come as soon as possible,

numerous times,

but if you could take it down,

just a bit...

at least until the aircon returns

it'd be greatly appreciated!

summer is getting ready

to take the stage,

while my much loved spring

exists gracefully
